Prior to becoming a full-time academic, I worked for over 25 years in Washington, DC, specializing in public affairs and grassroots engagement. My unique combination of public affairs experience and academic research make me uniquely suited for quantitative and qualitative research projects that require both technical training and on-the-ground knowledge of how politics works.
